Week 2: The Rustic Clash

With autumn quickly approaching (thank God), I thought I’d use this as inspiration for my second Wacky Wednesday post.  Fall in Florida is a strange time for me… The temperature goes from 95 to 80 everyday, tricking you into thinking it’s fall, but really it’s still… summer… and humid… and I still can’t be outside for more than 5 minutes without dying of heat stroke…

Still with me?  Great!  So as I was saying, fall is weird here.  I have a trunk full of clothes from back home that I’ve been resistant to give up because I love them and most likely spent too much money on them.

One cannot simply throw away expensive sweaters due to lack of need for them, geez.  Don’t be wasteful, people.  Rude.

A few times a year, however, when the temperature drops to about 50° or so, I get to break these favorites out and layer my tops so I get 7 days worth of looks into one (yes to you, rolling your eyes behind your computer scene, this is a real event).  Tanks with flannels are a classic look for me and that’s another inspiration for this post.

I am SUPER excited about this week’s Wacky Wednesday because I’m showing off my true style here.  I love a rustic, unusual look and this one hits the nail on the head.  I dug through my closet this week and found a few of my favorite pieces that I’m pleased to be able to put together in a unique way.

As I promised in last week’s post, I have two looks that I want YOU guys to decide on! Which one do you like best and want to see put together for a full look?!  Let me know in the comments below and the outfit that gets the most requests will be posted at the end of the week!  I need your vote!

Okay guys, here are the options!  And just like last week, there will be some last minute additions when I do my full look shoot, so stay tuned!  Ready?!  Take your pick!

Option 1: Dreamer Flannel ⇓

Option 2: Unparalleled Lines ⇓

I can’t wait to see which one you guys pick!

❤ Kate
